POWELL LIBRARY

One of the original four buildings in Westwood (and one of the most popular places on campus), classically beautiful Powell Library features a 63-foot-high interior dome with intricately painted ceiling panels, some 200,000 volumes, more than 100 computer workstations and 800 reading seats. Science fiction legend Ray Bradbury wrote his classic dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451 in Powell's basement. Learn more about UCLA Libraries.
