The Bruin Resource Center’s Guardian Scholars (BGS) program provides support to youth who have previously engaged with the child welfare system and experienced foster care or guardianship/kinship care probation, in addition to those who are unaccompanied minors. The BGS program offers academic advising, mentoring, financial scholarships, textbook scholarships and internship opportunities.
