Where to Start
You can pre-purchase parking or pay for parking when you arrive. If you purchase parking in person, there are two ways to pay. Please read below for more info.

You can park in structures 2, 4, 7 and 8. You may want to print or save the parking map pdf so you have it on hand.

Pre-Purchase Parking
Bruin ePermits can be purchased in advance online. Click “Bruin Day for Freshmen” in the list of upcoming events, then choose from the list of structures being offered. You can look at the parking map to see which structure is best for you. All of the structures are close to the event. The rate is $15 for the entire day.

Purchase Parking When You Arrive
If you purchase parking when you arrive, you can pay at a pay station (which accept credit cards and cash, but do not dispense change) or with the ParkMobile app. Get more info from UCLA Transportation. Rates range from $3 per hour to $15 for the entire day

Hospitality tent area

Start your day on campus at the Admission Tent. While there’s no official check-in, this is where you can pick up your Bruin Day map, schedule of events and signature tote bag. Plus, snap a pic with mascots Joe and Josie Bruin!

If you aren’t able to make it to the Admission Tent, you may also be able to get a schedule and bag just outside Pauley Pavilion before the University Welcome.

Student Volunteers
Everyone at UCLA is excited to meet you. Hundreds of volunteers, mostly current students, will be available to answer your questions. Look for them in yellow Bruin Day t-shirts. Volunteers in key locations will also have “Ask Me” signs so they’re especially easy to spot.

Los Angeles is serviced by three regional airports. The closest to UCLA is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which also provides the most convenient transit options for families.

If you are traveling from LAX, you can catch a taxi, Lyft, Opoli or Uber at LAX-it. Once you are outside of baggage claim, walk or catch a free shuttle to the LAX-it lot, where your ride will pick you up.
