POWELL LIBRARY

One of the original four buildings in Westwood (and one of the most popular places on campus), classically beautiful Powell Library features a 63-foot-high interior dome with intricately painted ceiling panels, some 100,000 volumes, CLICC equipment rentals and 800 reading seats. Science-fiction legend Ray Bradbury wrote his classic dystopian novel Fahrenheit 451 in Powell's basement. Learn more about UCLA Libraries.
